Our recommendations
A fluted cylinder and a globe
Looking for a compact ceiling light with real character? This one pairs a fluted aluminium cylinder, fixed to the ceiling, with a 12 cm frosted glass globe. The whole piece measures 21 cm high, keeping it discreet in a small room.
Black gives it a graphic, understated look, bordeaux red adds a deep splash of colour that warms a bright wall. Alone at the centre of a hallway, or in a row along an entrance, it brings rhythm to the ceiling without cluttering it.
A soft halo around the globe
The globe wraps around the bulb and spreads light evenly in every direction. The frosted glass softens the glare, which avoids dazzle when you look up, in a bathroom as much as in a hallway.
The ceiling light takes one G9 bulb, not included, up to 8 W LED. A warm tone shows off the bordeaux red and creates a hushed mood; a neutral tone suits a sink or a kitchen better. The fluted cylinder stays opaque and keeps its colour, whether lit or off.
IP44 for the bathroom
The body is in fluted aluminium and the globe in frosted glass. The ceiling light is made in Poland, weighs 0.47 kg and comes with a 5-year warranty.
It fixes to the ceiling and connects to 230 V. Its IP44 rating protects it against water splashes, letting it light a bathroom as well as any other room in the home. It is dispatched from our warehouse in Poland, with free tracked delivery from €65.
